Patient Forms

Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our patient forms, which will be explained to you by the staff or Dr. Flynn. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.

Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Flynn to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Flynn to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

After your consultation, Dr. Lucas Flynn will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well, if they are warranted. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

X-Ray Studies

Depending on your specific condition, we may take X-rays. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves. Dr. Flynn takes X-rays on most every patient in order to find the cause of the problem and diagnose it accurately. He believes "To see is to know, to not see is to guess".  We will not guess when it comes to your health.

Report of Findings

Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, Dr. Flynn will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:

  1. How can you help me?
  2. How often do I need to come in?
  3. What will my treatment cost?

After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine and X-rays, Dr. Flynn will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers. Dr. Flynn will provide the best treatment and wellness program for your needs.

Your first chiropractic adjustment usually does not take place on your first visit.  Dr. Flynn will start treatment on the second visit, once he has reviewed your exam and X-rays to determine the most effective treatment plan.  On your second visit, Dr. Flynn will review his findings with you, including your X-rays, and show you exactly what the cause of your problem is.  Your chiropractic care will consist of spinal adjustments, home exercises, stretching or using an ice or heat pack. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime.

Maintenance Program

Maintenance Care is our goal for each patient.  First, we want to find and correct your problem.  Then, once the problem has been corrected, Dr. Flynn will explain to you how to best keep it from coming back.  Every person is unique, therefore everyone requires a customized plan for staying healthy. The purpose of our maintenance program is for you to maximize the time, energy and money that you put in to getting this problem corrected in the first place.  Maintenance care is typically regular chiropractic visits every 4-6 weeks, or in some cases, every 1-2 weeks, depending on the problem and condition of the patient's spine.
